Who Are You

In our mind/body/spirit, we are a certain person, but what influences drive us to decide that this is who we are?

Leaving our parents out of this, in this day and age of electronics, internet, technology, media and listening to others, it all can influence and cloud our own judgement in making us, believe bits and piece of things we see and hear from other man made, sorry, other human made output.

It is said we are one with nature, containing different parts and percentages of natures DNA, to live with and not against “Earth

Have you ever sat back in a quiet area such as a Forest, seaside or any area away from human influences and sounds, just listened to nature, no cars, radio, people, only nature making its music. In this environment, if you just let your mind open up, it can be very scary and daunting for images from past whether good or bad, achievements or failures (better known as “still learning”), bring tears and happiness overcome you. What can you learn from this, is it who you are today or are there lessons that you didn’t take on and should have, we all have regrets on what we ‘should have done but didn’t’, that’s gone but did we repeat that mistake

One of the main things that I have and am still learning is “do I need this technology and keeping up with the Jone’s attitude” answer is no. Everything, mainly media and technology is thrown at you 24 hours a day 7 days a week, keep up or get left behind. Just ask anyone today, “what was in the news two days ago” and I bet, most will have no idea, “How has technology helped you” they/you are busier/lazy now from it. From a health perspective, there is every sort of human designed pill, vitamin, mineral, App, tecnology, fitness equipment that will help you with your ailment, taking time out from this and media, eating healthy food and natural functional exercising may help you back to the basics

Ask yourself, do you need this technology/advancement keeping up with Jone’s type of attitude?

One of my past faults is when I went back up to Qld, I bought some land to build a house on it, I achieved this by building a house based on a loan worked out from my base wage, working out my payments on a higher interest rate that was currently offered, a great start. When my mother passed away, I could have near payed the house and land off but I didn’t, instead I put an extension on the house and bought a new car, both of which was a comfort choice, my then current car and house was more than suitable, I could get from A to B and had a roof over my head, tick and tick. My desire over shadowed my needs and to this day is one of my greatest failures, sorry, a big learning curve of which I will never be able to put to future practice. I will never be able to own a house again but it doesn’t mean that I have no way to live in the future, it just means that I go a different path. Even today with what is out there, I now and again let it dictate what I should do, however this is getting less and less each day as I focus and learn that having a lot really means very little. If my contents was burnt, how would that effect me, sad yes but nothing that would I couldn’t pick up the pieces and get moving again, but that’s how I approach things

As part of my PT instruction style, I told some clients to visualise themselves doing the exercise, you can do this by letting your body talk to you through proprioception, you only have to listen. I suppose some would say its an out-of-body experience, its really no different than closing your eyes and moving some part of your body, you can’t see it but you can feel the movement. The concept can also be applied to something wrong within your body, you just have to listen and understand. Its like a cut, most people can feel if its a deep cut or not

Finishing up my above typing “brail/jibberish”, take time out by yourself, become one with nature and let nature and your body talk to you, clear the mind and look at yourself from outside in. I cannot say that this will be good or bad for you, we are all different/individuals and not one thing will work on all. To prove that point, look at the labels of any medicine on its possible side effects
