Climate Change

A very touchy and debatable topic, is there a right answer for it all, there is so many ways you can look at this, whether right or wrong we each have our own understanding. I will approach this as I do everything else, why is it?, lets look back in the past with open eyes

Climate change, if you look at the words and from my understanding on history taught many years ago, climate change is a real event. What I was taught at school, the whole of Australia was green, Tasmania was joined to Australia etc, over the events of time, the centre of Australia turned to desert, Tasmania separated from Australia and so on, other countries had their own events. I call this as climate change, an event that changes in Nature (Earth)

The Dinosaur era in theory was wiped out by a meteorite and what survived from this did and new species etc where born. This event I see as a drastic climate change, but that was a single one-off event, nature changed over time because it was not continually influenced by that event, in other words, meteors didn’t continually pound the Earth

If humans today having the current impact on the Earth, stopped, it could recover, but we as today continually impacting the Earth, gives it no chance to recover/escape to make changes at its own pace. Do you get my analogy?

The only way to bring this into perspective is using boxing as an example, you go for 3 minutes each round against an opponent, the first round is good. You can counter the punches, respond, move and recover, feel good when the first bell goes. As you go through the rounds, it comes to a point where you can’t protect from the punches, your recovery is near zero, can’t move as good and eventually get knocked out or to a point you just can’t go on. Replace Nature with yourself and humans as the opponent

2019/2020 fires in Australia, I am hopping to talk with the an Indigenous Fire Elder to understand there ‘cold burning’ technic and what areas they would do/did, was its all or only some of the area where they occupied

The only thing I can say myself today is I am very sadden by the loss of wildlife and terrain that I should have got off my arse earlier to volunteer my support for wildlife, I have to live with that which is hard. However, if your area is not affected, nature goes on as if nothing is happening so we should follow nature but keep in mind, there are things we can do to maintain balance and help to maintain this

“Humans can rebuild quickly, nature takes years and with human processes and influence whether right or wrong can increase this to a lifetime”

My thoughts at this stage is by looking at everything, I am assuming there would be forests that were not cold burnt so they had a build up of fuel, but would have been forests which where moist from rain, fogs, low mist etc and not have been a big ragging fire from lightening strikes unless nature intended it that way. (I don’t know how the centre of Australia changed from green to sand).

What are the answers, can anyone really answer them, I don’t think so as we can only surmise and bring debate/ arguments because we all see things differently. Is that really the problem, we don’t work together because we are so stubborn in our own minds that we are right and you are wrong, there has to be a neutral ground to agree on and move forwards together, what a nice thought

Criticism will come from every direction with the pointing of fingers, its someones fault, it’s our nature. You have to open your minds and work together, not just say NO because you are the opposition but to cooperate. I class this as table discussion, disagree to disagree. Laugh you may but I have heard this a number times happening.

My last sentence I could go on about for I have come across University trained people who know better and never had hands on experience, people trained from looking out the window. Not all are like this, some do like to get there hands dirty and really find out and willing to learn from those who have experinece. As I say these days in most cases, you can’t dig a hole using an electronic device, it will show you, but thats what todays world is

“Money is power, been elected is priority, who cares about anything else, there just a roadblock which needs to be brushed aside to achieve “MY GOAL”

Something to look back on for older Australians, from what I have been told on how ANSETT (previous Australian Airline along side TAA) collapsed, you will find power/business at there best
